Panco Strategic Real Estate Fund II (“Fund II”) has made two recent multifamily acquisitions in the Washington, DC area. In March 2014, Fund II closed on the $101,100,000 acquisition of The Point at Pentagon City in Arlington VA, a 348 unit high-rise with a 344 space above-ground parking garage, and 4 retail units. In September 2013, Fund II closed on the $59,500,000 acquisition of The Point at Park Station in Manassas Park, VA, a 350 unit property.
We are enthusiastic about the Washington, DC market, and continue to add to the nearly 5,000 residential units that Pantzer Properties owns in the region. Currently, Fund II is pursuing the acquisition of a high-rise immediately proximate to The Point at Pentagon City, which we believe will have synergies with that property.
